This weeks iCon is focused on the young and reckless fashionista, Lindsay Lohan, 21. Although you shouldn’t look up to her recent actions, like her mugshot, and possession of drugs and other allegedly plain idiotic stuff, not to mention the fact that she looks much more beautiful and sophisticated as a natural redhead than a trashy blond, you cannot deny, that woman’s got serious style.

 

 

The long tube-dress is almost classical and should have a residence in every fashionistas closet by now. Lindsay knows how to wear this dress casually yet with personality. One could learn a thing or two from her style [or shall i say stylist.]

 

As for casualty, sunglasses goes with anything as long as you pick them right. This season is very individualistic so why not choose a pair that fits either as classics [like aviators or a pair of ray bans] or by the outfit. Check out The black hoodie, thats going straight to my wish list this month. Along with the loose fitted gray melange top and tight, dark, slightly washed flared jeans. Notice that the bag is royal blue, which is the perfect accent colour for this kind of outfit.

 

Considering that slim fitted jeans are on practically everyones apple bottoms as we speak, flaring up jeans is kind of a bold statement and yet, Im personally embracing this trend. We’re gonna see alot more of these flares lying ahead. And Im not just talking raw denim. Im also talking loose fitted, flared, tweed, cotton, viscose, checked, brown, grey and black coloured pants. This is just the beginning, so some style advise is to go and get yourself a pair and be the first in fashion.

 

[flared jeans makes legs look a lot shorter when worn with flat shoes, so shorties, if you wanna wear it right, flares work perfectly well with high heels underneath slightly longer length of pants. Check out how Lindsay wears them to get the picture]

Metallics are still hot on the walk, silver or gold doesn’t really matter. Gold-colored leggings, silver tops, metallic manicures, as long as something but the jewelry is blinging, then its all good.
